摘要： An assembly for display of a window covering having a display case and a window covering attached to a display board. The a display case adapted to reversibly hold a display board near the top of the display case through a magnetic bond between the display case and the display board. Mounting hardware for the window covering is engaged with the display board. The window covering is engaged with mounting hardware so that the window covering with the mounting hardware, and the display board may be removed from the display case such that a different mounting board with a different set of mounting hardware and a different window covering may be inserted in the display case to demonstrate the appearance and functionality of the window covering.

Operation of the drive assembly may move the shade material between open and closed positions. At least one product plate assembly is positioned within the base tray and has a recess for holding a sample product. A transparent cover includes a height that is greater than the height of the base tray and greater than a height of the sample product. The transparent cover is placed over and around the base tray and is secured to the base tray and the at least one product plate assembly when the multi-functional display assembly is in a secured display configuration and is removed from around the base tray when the multi-functional display assembly is in an unsecured display configuration.

摘要： A set of methods, techniques and hardware is described for compressing image data for memory bandwidth and memory storage reduction in graphics processing systems. The disclosed technology can be used for compressing image data sent to the frame buffer and/or image data residing in the frame buffer. The compression process can be based on an adaptive number of base color points and an adaptive number of quantized color points. An adaptive technique for compressing alpha values based on pre-calculated maps or using an estimated alpha value based on thresholds is also disclosed. An implementation of the disclosed methods has, for example, a low hardware overhead, low buffering requirements, and low and predefined compression latency. Also, the disclosed methods allow, for example, random accesses to compressed image data.

In an embodiment, a cold-worked metal article includes a cold-worked metal-containing surface that defines pores. The luminescent phosphor particles include a host crystal lattice material and at least one active ion that includes an absorbing ion and an emitting ion that is different from the absorbing ion. The luminescent phosphor particles are harder than the cold-worked metal-containing surface.

摘要： Fingertip-sized discrete areas are provided on a slate computer and have different tactile characteristics than the remainder of the surface on which they are disposed. The discrete areas are arranged to mimic home keys of a keyboard and each discrete area corresponds to a respective home key. In this way, a user is given tactile feedback of when fingers are properly placed in the home position, with home key finger placement triggering the presentation of a full keyboard on screen. Other embodiments do not use tactilely distinct keys, with simultaneous placement of two or more fingers on the computer triggering display of the virtual keyboard.

The sequence comprises successively smaller graphic textures, arranging them to form a first mip-map suitable for use by 3D graphics hardware, and outputting an e-book document comprising the first mip-map representing some or all of the document page. A method of reading an e-book document includes accessing at least a portion of the mip-map comprising the sequence of graphic textures, constructing a surface in a 3D virtual space comprising one or more polygons, applying to the polygon surface a graphic texture derived from the accessed part of the mip-map responsive to scaling of the polygon surface with respect to an e-book reader display, and displaying the textured polygon surface on the display, thereby displaying some or all of the page.
