    • An electrical snap on switch includes a pair of associated contact elements, the contact elements include a fixed contact element and a movable contact element arranged facing the fixed contact element and that may come into contact with the fixed contact element for establishing a first conductive path. The snap on switch may also include a snap-action switching device that includes a tilting driving member pivotally mounted around a horizontal axis between an upper position and a lower position. The movable contact element is a movable portion of an elastically deformable conductive blade. The driving member includes a cam, which cooperates with a cam follower portion of the blade to deform or relax the blade, to cause the movable contact to come into contact, or out of contact, with the fixed contact element, therefore to realize switching.

    • A press key structure is disclosed, which comprises: a keycap, configured with a bottom surface; a substrate; a first movable panel; and a second movable panel; wherein the substrate is arranged at a position underneath the keycap while disposing the first and the second movable panels in a space sandwiched between the substrate and the keycap and pivotally coupling the two by the use of a flange and a groove formed respectively on the two neighboring edges of the first and the second movable panels in a manner that the flange is slidably inset into the groove; and the each of the first and the second movable panels is coupled to the substrate by the center thereof while enabling the two edges of the first and the second movable panels that are away from each other to pivotally coupled to the bottom surface of the keycap. With the aforesaid structure, a first angle is included between the first and the second movable panels when the keycap is not pressed by a force; and a second angle that is larger than the first angle is included between the first and the second movable panels when the keycap is pressed.

    • Methods and systems for actuating a negative rate switch. A negative rate switch comprising a plunger and a resilient actuator thereof can be provided, wherein a highest plunger force occurs at a free position and a lowest plunger force occurs at a full over travel position. The negative rate switch can be configured such that when the resilient actuator provides resilient actuating force to overcome a free position force associated with the free position, the plunger moves without interruption through a total range of travel thereof and when the resilient actuating force drops slightly below a full over-travel plunger force associated with the full over travel position, the negative rate switch overcomes the resilient actuating force to return the plunger to the free position thereof without interruption.
