摘要： The centrifugal positive locking brake works inversely, that means, locking upon stopping and decoupling on start-up. When the drive motor is de-energized, the fixed ratchet(s) hit against at least one locking abutment on a locking disc positively fixed to the frame and lock the shutter. When voltage is applied, and with the associated quick start-up of the drive motor , the ratchet(s) disengage because of their inertia. This centrifugal positive locking brake for shutter drives is operated with a specially designed control method. After the power supply is interrupted, the ratchet(s) are drawn inward by the reloaded spring(s) so that they run against the locking abutment(s) and the shutter reliably locks in this position.

The braking mechanism also includes a first braking member coupled for co-rotation with an output shaft of the electric motor. The first braking member is configured to movable relative to the output shaft between a first position and a second position. The braking mechanism also includes a second braking member rotationally fixed relative to the first braking member. When the electromagnet is energized, the electromagnet causes the first braking member to move from the first position to the second position. The first braking member engages the second braking member to brake the electric motor in one of the first position or the second position.

摘要： An electric motor assembly includes an outer rotor motor, a sensor, and a brake assembly. The outer rotor motor includes a stator and a rotor. The rotor at least partly circumscribes the stator and is rotatable relative to the stator about an axis. The rotor includes a rotor core extending radially outwardly to present axially opposite first and second sides, and a plurality of magnets supported relative to the rotor core. The sensor is operable to sense a condition associated with the electric motor assembly. The brake assembly is operably coupled to the rotor core to selectively reduce the rotational speed of the rotor. The brake assembly is positioned at least partly axially outward from the first side of the rotor core, and the sensor is positioned at least partly axially outward from the second side of the rotor core.

摘要： A wheel support bearing assembly includes a wheel support bearing and a power unit. The power unit is that of an outer rotor design in which a stator is located at an outer periphery of the wheel support bearing and a rotor is located radially outward of the stator. A radial extension of the entire power unit is sized to be radially inward of a peripheral section of a brake rotor. An entirety of the power unit, excluding a mount part thereof to a hub flange, is sized to be situated in an axial range between the hub flange and a mount surface, on an inboard side of the wheel support bearing. The rotor includes an outer shell magnetic body, which is made from soft magnetic material and forms an outer shell of the power unit, and permanent magnets that are provided to the outer shell magnetic body.

摘要： An actuation system and method of operation for moving a closure panel in one of a normal drive state and a back drive state are provided. The actuation system includes a mechanical coupling for moving the closure panel. A motor with a shaft is directly and operably connected to the mechanical coupling to directly move the mechanical coupling. A sensor detects movement of the closure panel and couples to a controller connected to the motor. The controller moves the closure panel with the motor based on a detected motor movement command in the normal drive mode. The controller also detects movement of the closure panel using the at least one sensor and selectively brakes the movement of the closure panel based on the movement detected in the back drive state.
