摘要： A label printer and cutter combination will print a number of labels on a large sheet that is fed from a sheet tray (28) coupled to the printer. The labels are oriented orthogonally along X-Y axes on the sheet, and once all the labels on the sheet have been printed, a transfer section coupled to the printer changes position and the sheet is fed, with the printed labels on the sheet, into a cutter (120). The cutter (120) is operated to individually cut the labels and deposit the sheet of properly cut labels onto a storage tray. The printer and the cutter (120) are operated under digital control and can be programmed to accommodate different size labels as well as different size sheets as well as provide signals for controlling related functions of the printer and cutter (120).

摘要： A press (16) for transferring images from pictures or substrates to other objects, such as mugs (12) or other cylindrical objects. The press (16) comprises a flexible band or jacket type clamp (24) lined with suitable compressible material (26) and capable of being clamped tightly against a generally cylindrical outer surface (18) of an object (12), with the image to be transferred against such outer surface. The image is urged into intimate contact with the outer cylindrical surface (18) by the clamping pressure transferred through the compressible material (24). An adjustable clamp (38) permits ease of placement of the band type press (16) onto the object (12) to which the image is to be tranferred.
