摘要	A method for polishing a smoking pipe of wood material comprises applying a sealing compound to an outer surface of the smoking pipe prepared to a smooth finish. The sealed outer surface is sequentially polished with a first polishing compound and a second polishing compound, both of which are applied using a rotating polishing wheel. The first polishing compound comprises a mixture of sebacic acid natural grease, wax and alumina, the second polishing being a wax palm leaf extract base eg. carnauba wax. The inner surface of the smoking pipe is polished with the second polishing compound.
