This invention is related to a liquid crystal display panel and manufacturing method thereof. The liquid crystal display panel includes the improved color repeatability and the excellent image quality. The liquid display panel includes a color filter array substrate including a black matrix installed on the substrate and a plurality of color filters, wherein each color filter includes a first color filter, a second color filter, a third color filter which respectively generates different colors; and at least one color filter selected from a fourth, a fifth and a sixth color filters; the four color filter generates the mixed color of the first and second color filters; the fifth color filter generates the mixed color of the second and third color filters; the sixth color filter generates the mixed color of the first and third color filters.
