The invention relates to a ratchet wheel pulling tool comprising a handle part which forms a jointing head. A driving device used for switching and positioning the pulling direction of a driving element is assembled on the jointing head. The driving device comprises a toggling unit used for driving a control unit. The toggling unit comprises a toggle swing element, and two ends of the toggle swing element are respectively provided with a shift ring and a coupling shaft. A jointing sleeve is formed at one end of the driving element. The driving element is assembled on the jointing head by the jointing sleeve. The inner peripheral rim of the jointing sleeve is provided with a plurality of ratchets engaged with the control unit. The ratchet wheel pulling tool is applicable to different construction environments, can save the pulling procedures and time by taking advantage of the switch pulling direction of the driving device and the restoration pulling allowance and can prevent an original pulling direction from being changed due to the collision during the operation.
