The invention discloses a medical application of 1-methyl-2-amino terephthalate, belonging to an application of a compound having therapeutic activity to a metastatic tumor. The 1-methyl-2-amino terephthalate efficiently inhibits serine-threonine protein kinase and phosphorylation thereof, is discovered to efficiently inhibit the chemotactic migration and the adhesion ability of tumor cells through an in vitro cell function experiment, lowers the migration ability of breast tumor cells and the EGF induced adhesion ability, and inhibits the serine-threonine protein kinase needed by the chemotactic migration and the activation of downstream signal molecules cofilin thereof, thereby enabling 1-methyl-2-amino terephthalate as the prior small molecular compound to become a drug which has a newapplication of inhibiting tumor metastasis.
