The invention relates to an automatic shoe cover machine, which comprises a shoe cover storage box. Shoe covers with open side down are stacked in the storage box and are provided with tightened openings. The shoe cover machine comprises a shoe cover taking mechanism which can take shoe covers out of the storage box and make the openings of the shoe covers upward and a shoe cover pulling mechanism which can enlarge the openings of the shoe covers; and a supporting arm is provided with a shoe cover propping rod which can turn over along with the supporting arm, and the shoe cover propping rod is arranged in the middle of a separation drag hook and can open a shoe cover outwards after the separation drag hook turns downwards. When the opening of the shoe cover is pulled by the separation drag hook and a traction drag hook, the shoe cover propping rod can function as a fulcrum for outward opening of the shoe cover, thereby changing the direction of the action of the shoe cover tightening force on the separation drag hook and producing the acting force along the straight line formed by the shoe cover propping rod and the separation drag hook. Then, the invention can ensure that the opening of the shoe cover reliably slide on the separation drag hook, prevent the deviation of the opening of the shoe cover from the drag hook, and achieve more ideal shoe cover taking rate.
