A new solar wireless sound system includes a transmitting part and a solar-powered outdoor speaker box. The transmitting part includes a transmitting circuit and a sound source input device connected to the input terminal of the transmitting circuit. A receiving circuit and a power amplifying circuit connected to the receiving circuit are set in a solar-powered outdoor speaker box. The sound source input device is an IPOD player interface . A music detecting circuit and a power management circuit are also set in the solar-powered outdoor speaker box. The input terminal of the music detecting circuit is connected to the output terminal of the receiving circuit, the output terminal of the music detecting circuit is connected to the input terminals of the power management circuit and the power amplifying circuit respectively, and the output terminal of the power management circuit is connected to the power controlling terminal of the power amplifying circuit. The invention has the advantages that: the matched IPOD can update music easily, and the music detecting circuit and the power management circuit are also set in the solar-powered outdoor speaker box so as to realize energy-saving hibernation function and auto awake function for the speaker box.
