Disclosed is an emulsion composition characterized by containing a component (A) which is at least one substance selected from the group consisting of alkanols having 6-20 carbon atoms, alkenols having 6-20 carbon atoms, polyoxyethylenealkyl esters, polyoxyethylenealkyl diesters, polyoxyethylenealkenyl esters, polyoxyethylenedialkenyl esters, polyoxyethylene-polyoxypropylene block copolymers and silicon surfactants, a component (B) which is at least one substance selected from polyoxyalkylenearylphenyl ethers, and a component (C) which is an aromatic hydrocarbon nonpolar solvent. The emulsioncomposition is also characterized by containing no anionic surfactant and no cationic surfactant. Also disclosed is an agrochemical emulsion composition containing the emulsion composition.
