The invention provides a height-adjustable presser foot. The presser foot comprises a pressing rod, a presser foot and a middle movable support, wherein the presser foot is arranged at the bottom of the pressing rod; a workpiece to be machined is pressed at the bottom of the presser foot; the middle movable support is inserted into the middle of the presser foot and comprises a cover plate, a supporting spring, a movable supporting plate and a fixing piece; the cover plate is inserted on the top of the presser foot; the movable supporting plate is inserted at the bottom of the presser foot; pin holes opposite to each other are formed on the presser foot and the movable supporting plate; the supporting spring is arranged between the cover plate and the movable supporting plate; two to three vertically mounting and connecting holes are formed on the movable supporting plate; and the fixing piece penetrates through the mounting and connecting holes of the movable supporting plate and the presser foot for positioning. By using the height-adjustable presser foot, a height-adjustable movable supporting plate is arranged between platy presser feet; and therefore, the requirements of machining cloth with decorations in different thicknesses can be met by using a single presser foot.
