The invention relates to the electricity generating technology field, especially a self-sustaining type electricity generating device based on a pipeline oil transportation power, comprising a diversion apparatus connected with a pipeline output connector; a flow adjusting apparatus connected with the diversion apparatus; and a conversion apparatus connected with the flow adjusting apparatus; wherein the conversion apparatus comprises a turbine mechanism connected with the flow adjusting apparatus; a main shaft connected with the turbine mechanism; and the electricity generating set connected with the main shaft. Through in series connection with an arbitrary segment connector of the oil transportation pipeline, the device of the invention can fully transfer flow kinetic energy of the medium in the oil transportation pipeline into electric energy without influencing the function and efficiency of the pipeline, so as to provide electric energy for special electric equipment.
