The invention relates to a presser foot of a sewing machine for sewing fabrics. The presser foot comprises a press rod and a presser foot, wherein the presser foot is arranged on the bottom of the press rod, the presser foot comprises a bottom presser foot, a middle presser foot and a top presser foot, two introducing feet are symmetrically arranged at one end of the bottom presser foot, the introducing feet are provided with a bottom presser foot plug rod, the bottom of the top presser foot is provided with a top presser foot plug rod, the upper end of the middle presser foot is provided with a plug groove corresponding to the top presser foot plug rod, the lower end of the middle presser foot is provided with a plug groove corresponding to the bottom presser foot plug rod, and the upper end and the lower end of the middle presser foot are provided with cup joint parts which are corresponding to the introducing feet of the bottom presser foot and the tail end of the top presser foot. The presser foot of the sewing machine is designed, so that different components can be plugged according to the heights of the fabrics to adjust the heights of the introducing feet of the presser foot, and the fabrics such as cotton, flax, silk, fur, artificial fiber and the like are prevented from being hung on the presser foot due to low height.
