A presser foot for a double needle machine includes a pressing bar, a presser foot plate, conduction band plates and buffer springs, wherein the pressing bar is mounted in the connecting part of the presser foot plate through a connecting piece; two buffer springs are arranged between the pressing bar and the connecting part of the presser foot plate; two parallel needle grooves are formed on the presser foot plate; the head end of the presser foot plate is connected with a front conduction band plate with front conduction band plate limiting teeth; the tail end of the presser foot plate is connected with a rear conduction band plate with rear conduction band plate limiting teeth; and limiting teeth are knuckle-teeth. By designing the presser foot for the double needle machine, the braid can be limited for many times, so that the braid is free from slanting after the sewing, and by adopting the double buffer springs between the pressing bar and the presser foot plate, the stress on the presser foot is more uniform and the presser foot has little possibility of damage during the work.
