The invention discloses a resin-dropped button and a production process thereof. The invention aims to provide a resin-dropped button which has a simple structure, convenient machining and gay colors. The resin-dropped button comprises a button baseplate made of plastic or polyester resin. Threading holes for sewing the resin-dropped button onto clothes are fabricated on the button baseplate. A purfle which is above the baseplate is fabricated on the upper surface around the threading holes and the button baseplate. The resin-dropped button is characterized in that a colorized epoxy resin is dropped onto the upper surface of the button baseplate. The production process of the resin-dropped button comprises fabrication of the button baseplate, plastic electroplating, preparation of the colorized epoxy resin, drop of the colorized epoxy resin, drying and curing, and incoming inspection. According to the invention, the purfle having a colour that is different from the colour of the colorized epoxy resin can be formed around the threading holes and the button baseplate by adding a pigment having a colour that is different from the colour of the epoxy resin. By mixing pigments having different colours, an objective of conveniently changing the design and colour of a button is obtained, the appearance of the button is quite beautiful, and the fabrication of the button is also quite convenient.
