The invention provides an edge cutting machine with a shredding device. The edge cutting machine comprises a rack, an edge cutting device and the shredding device, wherein the edge cutting device and the shredding device are arranged on the rack, the edge cutting device is used for cutting an edge of a lead strap, the shredding device is used for shredding a defective lead strap, the edge cutting device comprises an upper roller, a lower roller, two upper cutters and two lower cutters, the two upper cutters are respectively arranged at the two ends of the upper roller and rotate synchronously with the upper roller, and the two lower cutters are respectively arranged at the two ends of the lower roller and rotate synchronously with the lower roller. During edge cutting, the lead strap is engaged between the upper roller and the lower roller, and edges of the lead strap are cut by the upper cutters at the two ends of the upper roller and the lower cutters at the two ends of the lower roller during rotation. When the lead strap is defective, the shredding device is started to shred the defective lead strap. The rotating upper cutters and the rotating lower cutters are matched to cut the edges of the lead strap, so the edge cutting machine with the shredding device can be used conveniently and rapidly. Moreover, edge cutting is performed during movement of the lead strap, normal movement of the lead strap cannot be affected, and no impact can be caused on normal production of an upstream device.
