The invention discloses a winding and switching control system for a wide lead tape production line. The system is arranged behind a tape feed device and comprises a PLC (programmable logic controller) control system, a cutter and a winding device used for receiving lead tapes conveyed by the tape feed device, the winding device comprises two winding channels, two corresponding winding rollers and two corresponding winding motors, and the control system further comprises a buffer mechanism arranged between the tape feed device and the winding device. The PLC control system judges tension change of the lead tapes by monitoring the state of the buffer mechanism and controls the winding speed of the winding device according to judging results, so that the tape feed device cannot stop conveying the lead tapes due to switching of the winding channels and tap cutting, and the lead tapes cannot be accumulated in front of the cutter. For example, the buffer mechanism is composed of an angle transducer, supporting plates and a cylinder. The tape feed device does not stop conveying the lead tapes, accumulation of the lead tapes in front of the cutter is eliminated, and tape cutting and automatic switching of the channels are achieved, so that production efficiency of the lead tape production line is improved.
