A work lamp comprises a lamp base and a lamp body mounted on the lamp base and is characterized in that the lamp base comprises a cylindrical lamp base body, a first support leg and a second support leg are rotatably disposed on the back of the lamp base body, the first support leg and the second support leg form a support triangle with the lamp base body when opened, the first support leg and the second support leg are abutted to the back of the lamp base body when closed, and a clamping mechanism for clamping the work lamp to the edge of a bench is arranged at the bottom of the lamp base body. Compared with the prior art, the work lamp has the advantages that the first and second support legs are rotatably disposed on the back of the lamp base body of the work lamp so that the first support leg, the second support leg and the lamp base body form the stable support triangle supporting the work lamp on the horizontal bench; and in addition, by the aid of the clamping mechanism disposed at the bottom of the lamp base body, the work lamp can be firmly fixed on the bench even the top of the bench is slanting.
