The invention provides a sliding plate conveying system for automobile assembly production. The sliding plate conveying system comprises an interior assembly line, a chassis assembly line and a sliding plate. A finish end of the interior assembly line is connected with a start end of the chassis assembly line, and a body of the sliding plate is provided with a lifter. The sliding plate enters the interior assembly line through an initial position of the same and passes the interior assembly line prior to entering an initial position of the chassis assembly line; in a lifting station section in the chassis assembly line, the lifter can ascend and descend so as to meet the requirement on chassis assembling; further one-stream production of assemblies is realized, and efficiency of whole assembly work is increased; a plurality of transferring and carrying processes can be simplified, and assembly production efficiency is increased.
