The invention relates to a device and a method for measuring the ventilation quantity of a filter tip in smoking of a cigarette. The device for measuring the ventilation quantity of the filter tip comprises a cigarette holder with manifold branches, a plurality of labyrinth ring type sealing rings, nest aluminum rings with holes and an auxiliary cigarette tube, wherein three labyrinth ring type sealing rings are arranged at the front end of the nest aluminum ring with holes, two of the three labyrinth ring type sealing rings are arranged in sequence, one of the three labyrinth ring type sealing rings is inverted, four labyrinth ring type sealing rings are arranged at the rear end of the nest aluminum ring with holes, three of the four labyrinth ring type sealing rings are arranged in sequence, one of the four labyrinth ring type sealing rings is inverted, the vent holes in the side surface of the nest aluminum ring with holes are communicated with the manifold branches of the cigarette holder, and the auxiliary cigarette tube is inserted into the cigarette holder with the manifold branches. The device for measuring the ventilation quantity of the filter tip can be used in in cooperation with a turntable smoking machine and a flowmeter, the flowmeter is regulated at the initial position, and then the cigarette is lighted, so that the ventilation quantity of the filter tip can be measured by the flowmeter in smoking of the cigarette. The device can be used for measuring both the ventilation quantity of the filter tip in smoking of a burning cigarette and the ventilation quantity of the filter tip of a non-burning cigarette.
