Provided is an LED lamp which comprises an enlarged sphere with a lateral cross section over 180 degrees, an LED with a large vision angle, and a vision angle over 180 degrees of the LED lamp generated by placing the LED at the circumference of the printed circuit board and close to the sphere. Further, a method for illuminating with LED lamps comprises providing electric power for multiple LEDs via a lamp holder; generating light with multiple LEDs, wherein the LEDs comprise vision angles over 120 degrees and is installed circularly on the circumferential edge of the printed circuit board; dissipating heat generated by the LEDs with a radiator coupled to the printed circuit board; and transmitting light from the LED via the sphere, wherein the sphere comprises a substantially spherical wall over 90 degrees extended from the vertical central line of the sphere.
