The invention discloses an insulator suspension mechanism monitoring device. The device comprises an insulator suspension mechanism, an electric field sensor, a wireless transmission module, a device moving module, a wire, and a control center monitoring module. The device can monitor the quality of fixed insulators wirelessly and transmits monitoring information to the control center monitoring module by means of the wireless transmission module. If there is a deviation over 2% compared to recorded data in a system, an insulator is considered to be invalid, and the device prompts that manual maintenance is needed. Besides, the device can automatically inspect insulators in the whole line range according to needs, which cannot be accomplished by insulator quality monitoring devices in the prior art.
