The invention discloses a CVT (continuously variable transmission) speed changer based on variable-stroke reciprocating motion. The CVT speed changer comprises an input shaft and an output shaft, wherein a variable-stroke device is arranged on the input shaft; an input end connecting rod pivot at one end of a connecting rod is arranged on the variable-stroke device, and an output end connecting rod pivot at the other end of the connecting rod is mounted on a one-way clutch; the one-way clutch is connected with the output shaft; the end part of the output shaft outputs motion through a gear speed changing mechanism. Compared with the conventional CVT speed changer, the CVT speed changer based on the variable-stroke reciprocating motion has the advantages that a hydraulic piston cylinder and an input clutch are removed from a system, so that friction loss and loss in a special stage in a running process can be reduced, and high-efficiency starting is realized.
