The invention relates to an extraction method of the effective components of plants and in particular relates to an extraction method of sea buckthorn flavonoids. The extraction method of the sea buckthorn flavonoids comprises the following steps: (1) extraction: utilizing sea buckthorn fruit paste to obtain a first precipitate; (2) degreasing: eluting and refining the first precipitate by utilizing petroleum ether, and carrying out centrifugation to obtain a second precipitate; and (3) drying: drying the second precipitate, and crushing. According to the technical scheme of the invention, the extraction ratio of the sea buckthorn flavonoids can be effectively increased, and large-scale industrial production can be carried out; and meanwhile, as waste slag of the sea buckthorn fruit paste is recycled, waste is turned into wealth, and the production cost is lowered.
