The invention provides a mounting method of a section axle counter of a railway station. The mounting method comprises the following steps: (1) preparing for construction; (2) positioning a wheel sensor and a track box; (3) inspecting the fault surface of tracks; (4) mounting the wheel sensor and the track box; (5) connecting a wiring to equipment; and (6) testing and debugging the equipment. Through the mounting method disclosed by the invention, unqualified construction can be avoided, and the construction efficiency and the construction quality are improved.
