The invention provides a processing box for an imaging device. The processing box comprises a photosensitive element, a development element, a first frame provided with a development element installation unit, a second frame provided with a photosensitive element installation unit, two side covers for connecting the first frame and the second frame, a first conducting element arranged on one of the side covers, partly exposed and used for formation of electric connection with a conductive contact in the device, and a second conducting element comprising an insertion part inserted into the development element installation unit and a contact part contacting with the first conducting element. The processing box is characterized in that the contact part of the second conducting element elastically presses against the first conducting element so that the second conducting element and the first conducting element can contact and relatively slide simultaneously. The processing box guarantees that under the condition of good conductive element electroconductibility, a development element position adjustment mechanism can easily adjust a distance between the development element and the photosensitive element.
