The invention discloses a sildenafil citrate tablet and a preparation method thereof. The sildenafil citrate tablet is prepared from sildenafil citrate-methyl cellulose mixed powder and pharmaceutically acceptable other auxiliary materials, wherein the sildenafil citrate-methyl cellulose mixed powder is formed by coating the surface of sildenafil citrate with methyl cellulose. The prepared sildenafil citrate tablet is quick in dissolution and stable in quality; and the preparation method is simple, no powder coating is needed, and no complex preparation equipment is need, so that industrial large-scale production can be easily realized.
