The invention provides an artificial vertebra. The artificial vertebra comprises an upper connector, a lower connector and a supporting portion. The supporting portion is connected with the upper connector and the lower connector and comprises a body and an adjustment portion, adjustability in connection between the adjustment portion and the body enables length adjustability of the supporting portion, and the body and the adjustment portion are connected with the upper connector and the lower connector respectively. The upper connector and the lower connector of the artificial vertebra are used for being connected with two vertically adjacent vertebrae in a human skeleton, and due to length adjustability of the supporting portion, the artificial vertebra can adapt to different users to highly fit original vertebrae. In addition, since the distance between the upper connector and the lower connector is adjustable, the artificial vertebra can be connected with vertebrae of a human body more accurately, connection failure caused by stress concentration at a fixed position is avoided, and reliability and fitting degree in connection of the artificial vertebra and the human body can be improved.
