The invention discloses a method for calculating a critical air leakage amount causing condenser vacuum deterioration. The method comprises: setting an initial iterative parameter; performing iterative calculation on each cooling pipe, and drawing a relational curve of condenser vacuum and an air leakage amount, wherein the air leakage amount corresponding to a curve inflection point is the critical air leakage amount causing the condenser vacuum deterioration. The method has the beneficial effects that: a change state of the condenser vacuum during change of the air leakage amount is calculated by establishing a one-dimensional steady-state heat exchange model of a condenser under the condition that a load and capacity output of an air extractor are unchanged, so that the critical air leakage amount causing the condenser vacuum deterioration is determined, and guidance is provided for safe and economic operation of condensers in power plants.
