The invention discloses a method for carrying out weight counter-balancing on multiple sets of counterweight groups used by a large ship lifter. The method comprises the following steps: step 1: counting; step 2: accurately weighing: steps 3-7: grouping and sequencing all standard concrete blocks; step 8: grouping and sequencing all nonstandard concrete blocks; step 9: completing distribution of the nonstandard concrete blocks; step 10: completing distribution of cast steel blocks; step 11: completing distribution of steel frameworks; step 12: completing distribution of all N sets of counterweight groups; step 15: calculating weight difference among the N sets of counterweight groups; step 16: mounting the N sets of counterweight groups; and step 17: realizing leveling weight deviation of the N sets of counterweight groups. The method for carrying out weight counter-balancing on multiple sets of the counterweight groups used by the large ship lifter can solve the weight counter-balancing problem of the multiple sets of counterweight groups, so that full balance between a ship chamber and counterweight is achieved, and stable parking of the ship chamber is guaranteed.
