The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a photosensitive glass body. The method comprises the following steps: a. a step of providing a mixture; b. a step of melting said mixture; c. a step of transferring the melt to a mold; and d. pressing the glass in the mold into the glass body. When the melt has a temperature above 1000 DEG C when being transferred into the mold, the melt is cooled in the mold in such a manner that the melt is cooled in the mold, and temperature of the melt goes from 990 DEG C to 600 DEG C in a time span of less than 15 minutes; the glass comprises Si4+, at least one crystallization promoter, at least one antistatic agent and a nucleating agent pair; the crystallization inhibitor is selected from the group consisting of Na+, K+ and Li+; the anti-crystallizing agent is selected from the group consisting of Al3+, B3+, Zn2+, Sn2+ and Sb3+; the nucleating agent pair comprises cerium and at least one reagent from a group consisting of silver, gold and copper;, the crystallization promoter is cat. The ratio of the molar ratio of cat.6% of the crystallization promoter to the molar ratio of Si4+ is at least 0.3 and up to 0.85.
