The system comprises a storage module controlled by the router. The storage module is provided with structure arrays for storing the names of the access devices. The structure arrays comprise a first array for storing media access control (MAC) addresses of the access devices, a second array for storing modified names of the access devices, and a time unit for storing last visit time. The system further comprises a display module for displaying the names of the access devices and a default name storage array controlled by the router and for storing default names of the access devices. The system and method have high stability and good display effect, are convenient to manage, and can use the stored resources effectively.
