The invention provides a toroidal energy bus control method and a toroidal energy bus. The toroidal energy bus control method includes the following steps: using a token to perform polling on devices which are connected to a toroidal bus and enable monitoring functions; detecting energy consumption requirements of energy-consumption devices, counting the total number of devices which have energy-consumption requirements at the present moment, and based on the total number and the preset ranking rules, determining the order in which respective energy-consumption devices are to be supplied with power; based on the order, updating token field information; based on the token field information, invoking a power supply device to provide power for the energy-consumption devices. According to the invention, the toroidal energy bus control method and the toroidal energy bus achieve communication between respective device and the energy bus, obviates the need for complex hardware configuration, can save cost, uses token-ring technology to manage devices which are connected to the energy bus, enables respective device to have equal distance with respect to the energy bus, and has high expandability.
