The invention discloses a low-grade attapulgite raw ore heavy metal curing material and a method for carrying out in-situ remediation on contaminated soil by using same. Attapulgite raw ore containingassociated minerals is taken as a carrier, waste oil is used as a carbon source, and the heavy metal curing material is prepared by adopting a one-step carbonization method. The attapulgite raw ore is subjected to calcination treatment, so that the micropore and mesoporous structures of attapulgite are activated, and the adsorption property of heavy metal ions in the soil is obviously improved. Furthermore, biochar is endowed with surface modified functional groups, thus achieving synergistic and complementary effects, and further enhancing the adsorption property of the heavy metal ions. Themethod provided by the invention utilizes the attapulgite raw ore containing the associated minerals to carry out remediation on the heavy metal contaminated soil, thus having wide application prospect in the aspect of remediation of the heavy metal contaminated soil.
