The invention provides a high-resistance high-intensity ethylene propylene rubber material and a preparation method thereof. The ethylene propylene rubber material takes ethylene propylene rubber, a free radical deactivating agent, a rubber activator, a reinforcing agent, a plasticizer, a mineral substance material, a coupling agent, a vulcanizing agent and a vulcanizing accelerator as main raw materials. According to the high-resistance high-intensity ethylene propylene rubber material and the preparation method thereof, the ethylene propylene rubber which is of a completely saturated straight-chain structure is used as the raw material, so that the prepared rubber material is high in heat resistance and aging resistance; meanwhile, by use of the mineral substance material and the silanecoupling agent, the adhesiveness among all the raw materials in the rubber material can be effectively improved as well, and the insulation performance of the rubber material is improved; cracking ofa rubber pipe due to an internal potential difference is reduced.
