The invention discloses a device and method for measuring a friction coefficient between steel plates and a bushing. The device for measuring the friction coefficient between the steel plates and thebushing comprises a base, a testing part, and a loading part, wherein the base is arranged on a floor; the testing part is arranged on the base; and the loading part is arranged on the testing part. The device and method for measuring the friction coefficient between the steel plates and the bushing has the advantages that testing can be safely and reliably carried out; a force sensor of equipmentand a load sensor for acquiring the axial pressing force of a bolt are high-precision sensors which carry out simultaneous acquisition, so that high-precision measuring results can be sufficiently ensured, and a simple and rapid calculation method can be achieved; and moreover, a support seat can slide on a T-shaped groove of a bottom plate, so that bushings with different lengths can be tested,and higher universality can be further achieved.
