The invention discloses a pure electric drive new energy vehicle and a special battery thereof. The pure electric drive new energy vehicle comprises an electric drive system, a vehicle body battery, afuel power supply device, external charging ports and a battery amplification interface, wherein the vehicle body battery provides electrical power for the electric drive system, the fuel power supply device charges the vehicle body battery, the external charging ports provide external charging for the vehicle body battery, and the battery amplification interface is connected with an external battery. The pure electric drive new energy vehicle has the advantages of long battery life and convenient use by users.
