The invention discloses an impact load test device and method for an aircraft engine supporting structural member. The test device is arranged on a drop hammer test bench for use, the drop hammer testbench comprises a worktable and a hammerhead, the test device comprises a fixing seat for mounting the supporting structural member and a force transmitting member for transmitting the impact load applied by the hammerhead to the supporting structural member, the fixing seat is disposed on the worktable, the supporting structural member is disposed on the fixing seat, the force transmitting member is connected to the supporting structural member, and the test device further comprises a strain gauge attached to the supporting structural member for testing the impact load experienced by the supporting structural member. The impact load test device for the aircraft engine supporting structural member is simple in structure, low in manufacturing cost, safe and reliable, can realize dynamic test of the supporting structural member under different impact energy, and can obtain the impact load experienced by the supporting structural member during the test, thereby obtaining the dynamic mechanical properties and failure behavior of the supporting structural member under different working conditions.
