A fabrication method of a NiCo2O4/graphene aerogel/foamed nickel composite electrode comprises the following steps of 1) fabricating a conductive substrate, in which 1.5-5mg/mL graphene oxide aqueoussolution is placed in a hydrothermal reaction kettle, foamed nickel is immersed in the graphene oxide aqueous solution, the reaction kettle is sealed, and reaction is performed for 6-12 hours at 120-220 DEG C to obtain a graphene aerogel/foamed nickel (NGF) composite substrate with relatively large specific area; and 2) growing a NiCo2O4 nanosheet onto the graphene aerogel/foamed nickel (NGF) composite substrate obtained in the step 1) by one-step electrochemical deposition. The fabricated NiCo2O4/graphene aerogel/foamed nickel (NGF) ternary composite electrode has a hierarchical opening porous structure, rapid electron and ion transmission can be achieved, a large electrode-electrolyte acting interface can be achieved, so that the NGF electrode has favorable electrochemical capacitance performance.
