The present invention obtains an inverter unit provided with a switching element unit and a capacitor unit and having a reduced wiring impedance. The capacitor unit 4 has a first portion 41 having a first length L1 that is the length in a first direction D1 orthogonal to the reference surface R1 of an inverter unit and a second portion 42 having a second length L2 that is shorter than the first length L1, wherein the first portion 41 and the second portion 42 are disposed adjacent to each other along the reference surface R1. The switching element unit 3 is disposed overlapped with the secondportion 42 when viewed in the first direction D1 and overlapped with the first portion 41 when viewed in a second direction D2 that is a direction toward which the first portion 41 and the second portion 42 are aligned along the reference surface R1.
