The invention discloses a socket protection mechanism which includes a casing body with at least two sockets. At least two moving stoppers are arranged in the casing body. The number of the sockets isequal to the number of the moving stoppers. One socket is corresponding to a moving stopper. The moving stoppers are used to open and close the sockets. When one of at least two sockets is opened, the remaining socket is closed by the corresponding moving stopper. An elastic member is arranged between each moving stopper and the casing body to push the moving stopper to move to close a socket. According to the invention, two or more plugs are prevented from being inserted into a socket at the same time; when a plug is inserted into the socket, the corresponding moving stopper opens a socket,but at the same time, the remaining moving stopper closes the remaining socket to prevent two or more plugs from being inserted into the socket at the same time; and safety protection is realized.
