The present invention relates to a technique for preparing iron-chromium-silicon coating layer on general steel component surface. Said invention includes the chrome-electroplating process and thermal diffusion powder embedding siliconing process, and uses the atomic thermal diffusion process to convert the surface layer of general carbon steel into the chromium-silicon enriched alloy layer with excellent high-temp. resistant property, corrosion resistance and abraisve resistane. Said method can produce excellent anchoring strength between the alloy coating layer and base material, does not damage the original mechanical property of steel component, and can be used in high-temp component structure material of industrial equipment, can raise service life of workpiece and reduce production cost.
