The air-assistant ultraslow-temp. method for making plastic powder is characterized by that firstly, using melter to melt the thermoplastic granular plastic material into molten liquid material, theninjecting high-pressure air into the outlet of the molten liquid material to reduce the viscosity of the flowing molten plastics, progressiely blowing and separating the molten plastics into band body or oval body, and even thin and small microparticles, then making these microparticles pass through a cavity in which the ultralow-temp. liquid nitrogen is sprayed for crisping them so as to greatlyreduce the resistance to shock and toughness of these microparticles and make them have high brittleness and friability, and then rolling them by using low-temp. grinding wheel so as to quickly obtain the invented plastic powder whose grain size is below 10 micrometers.
