The present invention relates to a special-purpose paper for base material of incense coil (mosquito-repellent incense) and its production method. The invented technological process is characterized by that the plant fibre is fed into hydrapulpter to be crushed, then fed into pulp chest, passed through disk grinder and homogenized, then fed into paper-making pulp chest where the wet-strength agent, combustion adjuvant, filling material are mixed, and passed through board-making and paper-cutting equipment, and finally, it is press-formed so as to obtain the invented special-purpose paper for incense coil. The said special-purpose paper composition contains (wt%) plant fibre 52.5%-84.3%, wet-strength agent 0.2-2.5%, filler (talcum powder) 15-42% and combustion adjuvant 0.5-3%.
