The utility model relates to the manufacturing field of wood processing auxiliary tools, in particular to a novel nail sheathing device which comprises a sleeve (1), a magnet (2), a handle (3) and a handgrip (4), wherein the magnet (2) is arranged at the upper inner end of the sleeve (1), the handle (3) is mounted on one side of the sleeve (1), and the handgrip (4) is mounted at the outermost end of the handle (3). The novel nail sheathing device provided by the utility model has simple structure, low manufacturing cost and easiness in generalization, and can effectively avoid the potential safety hazard that a hand is injured by a steel hammer when a nail is held.
