The utility model provides a map displaying device which effectively uses the history records of addresses searched in the past to easily search addresses surrounding the addresses searched in the past. The map displaying device which searches places of inputted addresses and displays searched places comprises storing devices (3) and (4) storing the history records of searched addresses according to every administrative region, an inputting image and a control device (11), wherein inputted addresses of every administrative region is displayed on the same inputting image, and the control device (11) displays the names of administrative regions searched in the past in inputting items of administrative regions of the inputting image.
