PURPOSE: A device to heat and press insert nuts and a method to heat and press the insert nut using the same are provided to obtain reliable data as a device with a function arraying a central point of a plastic boss and the insert nut to secure the reproducibility and accuracy of measurement. CONSTITUTION: A device to heat and press insert nuts comprises a head press unit (A), a stage unit, a digital scale converter, a temperature controller, and a computer. The stage unit tightens a plastic boss test piece in which the insert nut is pressed and moves to left and right sides (X-axis, Y-axis). The digital scale converter calculates a correct transfer distance when the insert nut is pressed or drawn. The temperature controller controls a temperature when the insert nut is pressed or drawn. The computer supplies a program automatizing the transfer distance and the temperature.
