摘要： A fluid control valve which has a deformable valve member with a fluid passageway therethrough. The fluid passageway is closed by a pressure-exerting member. Initial actuation of the valve by pressure on an actuator assembly compresses a spring which moves the pressure-exerting member away from the deformable valve member, thus allowing the fluid passageway to open. The fluid control valve also having a base portion containing a tortuous path air channel. When the base portion is fitted against a neck plug of a reservoir, a vent opening in the neck plug opens into the air channel of the base, allowing air to enter the reservoir while preventing liquid from leaking out of the reservoir should the reservoir be tipped over.

A method of manufacturing the insect bait device as well as a preferred insecticide composition are also disclosed.

摘要： A fragrance sampling display for retail environments is disclosed. The sampling display may include a dock having a removable faceplate and sidewalls. The dock may include one or more receptacles and one or more scent modules, wherein each scent module is associated with and partially inserted into only one of the receptacles. The scent modules may be removably disposed in the corresponding receptacles by retractable cords. Each of the scent modules may include a different volatile active corresponding to a different fragrance product and vent holes to facilitate passive emission of the associated fragrance. The vent holes may be configured so as to be substantially sealed while the associated scent module is in its respective receptacle.

The product display may include an upright display member having an illuminating member and lighting niches through which dynamic light shows may be projected. A product may be positioned in a lighting niche. A product experience shelf may also be coupled to the upright display member. The product experience shelf may include translucent recesses for holding and illuminating demonstration products. The product experience shelf may also incorporate an illuminated ring or border lining the outer edge of each recess for additional lighting effects. An interactive customer interface may allow customers to adjust a control module which coordinates synchronized dynamic light shows throughout the display. The customer interface may also be illuminated and positioned on the product experience shelf. Furthermore, the dynamic light shows may be synchronized with the lighting products.

摘要： A replacement device for a light bulb includes a translucent shell and a base. The base supports a plurality of colored lights positioned so as to emit a light show through the shell. The base is configured to be received in a conventional light socket. The base also includes a compartment for receiving and securing a replaceable volatile active cartridge for enabling the device to emit an active ingredient from the cartridge when the cartridge is secured in the compartment. A dimmable white light source may also provided in the shell as a source of illumination. Thus, a single device is used as a replacement for a conventional light bulb and is a combination white light source/colored light show source/volatile active source.
