摘要： Each beaker is pivoted in such a manner that its longitudinal axis is tilted. Each beaker is equipped with a dosing hose, via which additives can be fed into the inner space of the beaker. Accordingly, the additives can be fed in a controlled manner and continuously or step-by-step into the beakers which are continuously moving, i.e. without any interruption of the movement of the beakers. This leads to a more uniform laboratory dyeing within the surface of the specimens.

摘要： The exhaust air from the tenterframe (1) conveyed by a fan (7) is fed as combustion air to the burner (13) of a steam boiler (21). The burner (13) is operated with a variable and high excess of air of .lambda.=1,5 to .lambda.=3,5. The boiler output is regulated by the fuel supply. The excess of air is increased at low boiler load. The boiler exhaust gas is cooled down below the dew point via three heat exchangers (29,30,31). Thus complete combustion of the organic noxious substances in the tenterframe exhaust air and at the same time recovery, which can be readily utilized, of the tenterframe waste heat and a lowering of the fuel requirement of the steam boiler are achieved. The same method is also suitable for purifying the exhaust air from singers.

摘要： A method and apparatus for supplying dyes to a dyeing apparatus, dyes being selected to yield one of a group of colors. A plurality of tanks of dye is provided, and a circuit leads from each tank to a selected one of a pair of valves that may either direct the dye to the dyeing apparatus or direct the dye to be recirculated. The flow through each valve is metered so a particular rate of flow can be established. One group of the valves provides dye to the dyeing apparatus while another group of the valves recirculates dye to establish another color ready to be provided to the dyeing apparatus. The colors are defined in terms of the tanks and rate of flow from the tanks, so a large group of colors can be defined and stored in a computer, and the computer can control valve position and pump speed to control the color produced by the dyeing apparatus.
